1. Veri sorumlusu
Uygulamayı Onur Kaya geliştirir ve yayımlar. Gizlilikle ilgili her konuda kayaonur607@gmail.com adresinden ulaşabilirsiniz.
Ayarlar > Geçmiş bölümündeki iCloud’a yedekle seçeneği açıkken tarama ve oluşturma geçmişiniz Apple’ın iCloud anahtar-değer deposuna, yani sizin Apple hesabınıza yazılır.
- iCloud’a giriş yapılmamışsa yedekleme yapılmaz.
4. İzinler ve ne için kullanıldıkları
| İzin | Ne için |
|---|---|
| Fotoğraflar (ekleme) | Tasarladığınız QR kodunu Fotoğraflar’a kaydetmek için. Kitaplığınızdaki diğer fotoğraflar okunmaz. |
| Konum (kullanırken) | Yalnızca konum QR kodu oluştururken “Konumumu kullan” düğmesine dokunduğunuzda, o anki koordinatı almak için. Konumunuz saklanmaz ve takip edilmez. |
İzinleri istediğiniz zaman iPhone Ayarlar > QR Barkod bölümünden kapatabilirsiniz.
10. Haklarınız
6698 sayılı Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu (KVKK) ve Avrupa Birliği Genel Veri Koruma Tüzüğü (GDPR) kapsamında verilerinize erişme, düzeltme, silme ve işlenmesine itiraz etme haklarına sahipsiniz. Verileriniz yalnızca sizin cihazınızda ve Apple hesabınızda bulunduğundan bu hakları uygulama içinden doğrudan kullanabilirsiniz. Sorularınız için kayaonur607@gmail.com.
11. Değişiklikler
Bu politika uygulamanın işleyişi değiştiğinde güncellenir. Güncel sürüm her zaman bu sayfadadır; üstteki tarih son değişikliği gösterir.
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 12, 2026
This policy explains how the iPhone app QR Barkod (App Store name “QR Reader & Generator”) handles your data. In short: your codes stay on your device, and as the developer we can’t access any of them.
- No account, sign-up or email required.
- No ads, analytics or tracking tools; we don’t track you across apps or websites.
- There’s no developer server; the codes you scan and create are never sent to us.
- Your history is stored on your device and, if you choose, in your own iCloud account.
- The only data sent over the internet is the address you search for when creating a location QR code (OpenStreetMap).
1. Who is responsible
The app is developed and published by Onur Kaya. For anything privacy-related, contact kayaonur607@gmail.com.
2. Information stored on your device
The following is kept only on your iPhone, inside the app’s own storage:
- Scan history: the content of each code you read, its type (e.g. QR code, EAN-13) and the time.
- Create history: the content of codes you create and their design settings (color, style, frame, etc.).
- Notes and favorites: notes and stars you add to records.
- Settings: preferences such as language, theme, haptics and automatic copying.
History keeps up to 250 records; older records are removed automatically.
3. iCloud backup
While Back up to iCloud is on under Settings > History, your scan and create history is written to Apple’s iCloud key-value storage, in your own Apple account. Your records come back when you reinstall the app or use a new iPhone with the same Apple Account.
- This data is stored by Apple under the Apple Privacy Policy. As the developer, we can’t access it.
- Logo images added to QR codes aren’t backed up; only the records and design settings are.
- Turning the option off deletes the copy in iCloud. “Delete all history” deletes it too.
- Nothing is backed up if you aren’t signed in to iCloud.
4. Permissions and what they’re for
| Permission | Used for |
|---|---|
| Camera | Reading codes. The image is processed on the device; no photos or video are recorded or sent anywhere. |
| Photos (picker) | Reading a code from a picture you choose and adding a logo to a QR code. Only the picture you pick is accessed. |
| Photos (add only) | Saving the QR code you designed to Photos. Your other photos are never read. |
| Location (while using) | Only when you tap “Use my location” while creating a location QR code, to get your current coordinates. Your location is not stored or tracked. |
You can turn permissions off at any time under iPhone Settings > QR Barkod.
5. Images sent from the Share menu
When you send a picture to QR Barkod from Photos or another app using the Share menu, the picture is copied into the app’s storage on your device and used only to read the code in it. It is never uploaded to a server. The code that’s read is added to your scan history.
6. Data sent over the internet
- Address search (OpenStreetMap Nominatim): When you search for an address while creating a location QR code, the text you type is sent to the OpenStreetMap Foundation’s Nominatim service. By the nature of the request, your IP address also reaches that service. See the OSMF Privacy Policy.
- Reverse geocoding (Apple): The address for coordinates from “Use my location” is looked up through the iPhone’s built-in location services.
- Links and searches: When you open a scanned link or search for a product code, Safari or the relevant app opens (product codes are searched on Google). Those sites’ own privacy policies apply.
Apart from this, the app sends no data over the internet.
7. Tracking and advertising
The app shows no ads and contains no third-party software for advertising, analytics, crash reporting or tracking. We don’t access your advertising identifier (IDFA), and we never share or sell your data.
8. Retention and deletion
- Delete a single record from the History screen, or everything with Settings > Delete all history. This also deletes the iCloud backup.
- With iCloud backup off, deleting the app also deletes all records.
- Since none of your data is on a developer server, there is nothing for us to delete on request.
9. Children’s privacy
The app is suitable for all ages and collects no personal data from anyone.
10. Your rights
Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, correct and delete your data and to object to its processing. Because your data lives only on your device and in your Apple account, you can exercise these rights directly in the app. Questions: kayaonur607@gmail.com.
11. Changes
This policy is updated when the way the app works changes. The current version is always on this page; the date above shows the latest change.
